As a meditation teacher and mindful outdoor guide, I believe in taking a practical approach to being mindfully present by incorporating contemplative and nature-based moments into daily life to help stay present and feel grounded. I completed the 160-hour Science of Mindful Awareness (SOMA) Meditation Teacher Training program offered by The Mindfulness Center, as well as the Tai Chi Easy™ practice leader training developed by Dr. Roger Jahnke and offered through the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi. In addition, I'm a certified Level 1 Kripalu® Mindful Outdoor Guide and Reiki 1 Practitioner. I also hold certificates in Wilderness First Aid and CPR/AED, have studied Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) created by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., and have taken courses by Jack Kornfield, Ph.D. and Tara Brach, Ph.D. In my free time, you can find me wandering the globe, gliding along still water in my kayak, meandering through the woods, and enjoying my backyard sit spot.
Audio walks and multi-day journeys.
